Her fingers were cut off in a lawn mower accident 25 years ago. But, what a fun attitude she has.
She told me that when she was teaching her 3rd graders how to learn fractions, she would hold up the finger on her right hand, and say, "This is one." Then holding up the finger on her left hand, she would say, "This is one and a half!" The kids loved it and they understood fractions! I loved her great attitude.
