Sunday Morning Choir Practice
Nearly every week, the choir practices at the Hancock home. We go to a privae home because we have so many wards in our building, and it's just hard to find a time to practice in the chapel. So the Hancocks set up the chairs, and we sing for one hour before church. Our choir leader is fantastic, the accompaniest is phenomenal, and we have some truly amazing, strong singers . (BTW, more people showed up after I had taken this picture. Most of the chairs were filled.) The song we are singing for ward conference today gave me goose bumps. I could hardly sing the words...oh, music, what power you have to stir the soul.
